U-11 Power Remains in Top 10 in New Jersey!
When the November 6th state rankings were released National Soccer Ranking.com ranked the WSC Power U-11 girls’ team thirteenth in the state of New Jersey. The team started the season ranked number eight based on its success in small sided play, and has remained in the top fifteen all season based on its State Cup play and JAGS schedule. The team has played nine of the top 15 teams and just yesterday defeated the number nine ranked Americans of Upper Saddle River.

That win should push the team into the top ten when this week’s rankings come out. The team next faces number three-ranked NJSA for a rematch of their 3-1 State Cup defeat. “We outplayed NJSA in that game, but just couldn’t finish a few great opportunities, this time we will be even more ready for them”. A win or a draw against NJSA could propel the Power into the top 5. The Power is an example of a hard working club team that is willing to take on the “Super Teams” and academy programs in a constant search for the best competition.
