WSC Press Release
Wayne Soccer Club thanks Wayne Mayor and Council

WAYNE, NJ … The officers and coaches of Wayne Soccer Club, accompanied by many of the nearly 300 boys and girls who make up the club’s 20 traveling teams, recently attended a meeting of the Wayne Township Council to say thank you for the financial and field access support that the club’s children received from the Township in 2009. Erik Adamchak, President of the Wayne Soccer Club, told the council members and Mayor that “the financial assistance and access to fields that Wayne Township provides to the children we serve enables us to provide a valuable soccer experience. It is an experience that not only teaches them the skills of a game, but one that equips them for a lifetime of opportunities of teamwork, hard work, and dedication.

The Wayne Soccer Club is a not-for-profit, parent-run organization dedicated to providing boys and girls from kindergarten through junior high school ages with an opportunity to learn excellent soccer skills from professional trainers. Wayne Soccer Club teams have earned premier state rankings and have been the champions at top-level tournaments throughout New Jersey. Many of the leading soccer players on Wayne’s high school soccer teams began their soccer careers with the Wayne Soccer Club. For further information, please access the club’s web-site at www.waynesc.org.
