Do you accept last year’s passes and roster?
Yes. This is a NJYSA Unrestricted tournament so all NJYSA and US Club Soccer cards will be accepted. NJYSA Player passes from 2007-2008 as well as 2008-2009 will be accepted due to the proximity to the fall season and some teams may not be carded for 2008-2009 at the time of the tournament. ONLY the new 2008-2009 passes will be accepted for US Club Soccer passes since they expire on August 1st, 2008.
Can clubs registering more than one team submit a single check for the club?
Yes. The WSC will accomodate clubs registering multiple teams by accepting a single check. Provide club and teams covered.
Is there a registration deadline?
Yes. Registration deadline is August 10, 2008. Discounts available for early registration. multiple team discounts can be discussed with the tournament director.
How many games are scheduled?
Every team is guaranteed three 50 minute games (25 minute halves 5 minute halftime).
What format are the games for small sided and large sided?
Small sided games will be played 8 v 8 (U10 and Under) and full sided 11 v 11 (U11 and above)
Is this a "patch" tournament?
Yes. All teams are requested to trade patches or pins with opponents at the completion of every game.
What is the cost for small sided and large sided teams?
Small sided games are $375 and full sided are $425.
While the tournament have awards / trophies?
- Participation awards will be given to all teams U-10 and under as per NJYSA regulations
- Trophies will be awarded to all full sided finalists and champions.
- A MVP award to the player of the match for all championship games will also be awarded.
- All teams are requested to trade patches or pins with opponents at the completion of every game.
Are there any other events during the tournament?
Food, professional photography, merchandise, and games of skill will be available to all participants.
